My Students

My students are awesome and ready to learn! We are a small charter school in the Dallas area and do not have many of the resources as some of the bigger districts have. In addition, most of my students come from low socio-economic backgrounds. As their teacher, I aim to do my best to provide them with opportunities and experiences they may not have at other schools. I strive to give my students the best I can with the resources available.

My Project

As I do not have laptops for my students, an iPad Pro will help my students work and turn in their assignments by logging on to their classroom. Students will explore maps of the Spanish-Speaking World. Listen to Spanish speakers and verbally speak their responses. The iPad will be available to students needing a computer or digital device to access their work online because many of my students do not have a computer or online access at home. . Giving them as much classroom time to do their assignments is essential, as some do not have access to technology at home.
