Exploring the Outdoors

My Project

Spring and summer are so much fun for kids! In Pittsburgh, we have a variety of water that allows opportunity for kiddos to get outside.

Unfortunately, many of my students' families don't have the means to buy activities for them to do outside.

The chalk and bubbles requested in this project will allow my kiddos to get a chance to work on a variety of early learning concepts, such as writing and other important fine motor skills. Each child will receive their own bucket of chalk and container of bubbles to take home with them. In addition, I want to help engage them in the nature that is around us. The magnifying glasses and bug catchers are fun ways to do that! It is my hope that with these activities, the children will get outside more and explore!
