More than a third of students from low‑income households

My students need 2 Samsung Chromebooks so that they have the chance to practice typing and become familiar with computers.
I have very invested students. They love to learn and understand the importance of learning. I would love to be able to give all my students opportunities to keep diving deeper into learning.
Many of my students are not given opportunities in life to explore technology and other cultures.
Many come from poverty and never are exposed to life outside our small, rural community. I have 20 of the most amazing kiddos that truly want to learn as much as they can. Access to technology will widen their word.
With 2 Samsung Chromebooks, my students will be able to become familiar with computers. In third grade they will have to be able to type their answers for the state test. They need early practice so that they have one less stress when it comes to taking the test. I would also love for my students to have the opportunity to research other cultures and to publish their writing.
In this day in age, computers are everything.
Every job uses some type of technology. In order to create responsible citizens of our country, they will need to have experience on the computer. My project will allow them to gain some early experiences through publishing their work and doing research.
