My Students

My students are ready to learn. They are faced with learning multiple new subjects this year and are anxious to rise to the challenge. They are excited to expand their knowledge and experiences. Health challenges affect everyone, so I need to provide my students with quality lessons every possible chance I have.

They work, learn, and recreate in a close-knit community.

They know that they matter to me and always do their best. Large class sizes provide unique challenges in teaching as well as learning. I am so proud of their willingness to take part in their own learning.

My Project

The main item I have chosen for this project is a Hydroponics Lab. This experience will allow students to learn the art of growing a seed by simply using water and light. Students generally do not have this opportunity at home.

Students need physical opportunities to learn the outcomes when combining substances.

Many of the other resources I have chosen will help students with this as they combine their efforts to learn with their fellow students.

Other resources included relate to the visual arts. As students learn about science, part of their learning includes explaining what they have learned through writing as well as by creating models of those concepts.
