Exploring Science Through Technology!

My students need Chromebooks in order to use technology to explore the natural world through Science! Many of the students do not have any technology at home!

My Students

We have a fantastic group of students that are interested in science and technology! They are a motivated, hard working, and driven group of students. In our evolving culture, technology has become more and more prominent. We would like to involve more technology in our classroom in order to expand our knowledge base. This will consist of completing graphs, tables, and even online experiments. Many of the resources we have at our school are over 10 years old and having electronic resources replace them will open up plenty of avenues for our students. Students will be able to work and learn more efficiently with technology, which allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter, as well as using more resources in order to enjoy science at its fullest!

My Project

Our young and eager science students will be able to use Chromebooks in order to learn at a much higher rate. Venturing outside old resources and moving on to electronic resources will help the students to obtain more information and a much more efficient rate. The Chromebooks will offer many more diverse lessons and avenues for the students to learn and take an interest in science and the outside world around them.

Many of these students do not have computers at their own homes and having these Chromebooks in the classroom will introduce them to Technology for the first time!
