"A parent or a teacher has only his lifetime; a good book can teach forever." —Louis L’Amour. I have a profound love of books and my hope is to foster that same love in all of my students. I believe that as long as you can read, you can accomplish anything. I can't wait to see what my kids can do.
I teach a classroom of 20 four and five year-olds in a public school, which houses grades Pre-K to fifth.
My students spend most of their classroom time in free choice centers. Their favorite centers are the library, blocks, dramatic play, and table toys. They are sweet, funny, and caring children. My district is very supportive of our students and staff, but there is never enough money in the budget to cover all the resources I need for my students.
The alphabet and number sets will help the students to learn through exploration in the sand and water tables.
The waterway building sets will help the students to create and explore different ways tubes and tunnels work and how they can make water flow through them.
The students love to build and the water building set would be a great addition to the water table for them to create structures. The alphabet and number concepts are also important concepts for them to learn and these sets would help them to do that in a fun and new way. The sand and water table can get boring to the students if there are not new materials put out for them to explore and these materials would help me to add new items for them to explore.
