My students need a new rug and current books relating to social studies and careers to read while sitting. Music helps us to learn and remember information.

My Students

We are still listening to music from the '90's and reading books from 1985. Help bring us into the present!

We are three boys and three girls.

We range from second to fifth grade. Some of us have known each other for several years. We are included in all of the school events and like musical assemblies the best. We love bowling in Special Olympics every year.

My Project

A new rug will bring a level of comfort to the kids that are resting on the floor or reading. The Social Studies Literature Libraries and the Community and Careers Theme Book Library will allow us to explore history, current events and different aspects of the community with concrete models.

These materials all help to bring the Social Studies curriculum alive.

With models to hold and look at, the students will better understand the lessons and be able to retain the information more easily.
