Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. This year especially I know that they are going through so much more that is completely out of their control. Having experienced hurricane Harvey many of them are still out of their homes.
My students need math and language arts hands on ready to go centers that will keep them engaged.
They love to learn and they enjoy exploring new things. Kindergartners need to be engaged and hands on manipulatives, math and language arts centers are definitely a way to capture their attention.
My Project
My students would benefit from Instant learning centers because they would have hands-on materials.
Instant learning centers keep ready to learn minds engaged and active by giving them the opportunity to experience new material hands on.
My students need the opportunity to have hands on materials that they can use and explore with. These Instant learning centers and power pens will introduce them to a whole new world of math and language arts with technology. Students need to be able to explore new things by playing, interacting with others and experiencing new things. Instant learning centers will provide them with that opportunity and more.
