My Students

Can you imagine learning about force and motion with just a textbook? I need to liven up force and motion for my students by providing them with high-interest literature and hands-on opportunities.

My students are passionate about their studies and have high expectations in achieving our state standards.

They are an inquisitive group of fifth graders who love to fill their brains with new knowledge. They love to ask questions and truly are little sponges! This project will allow them to explore their understanding of force and motion.

My Project

This project will add excitement to learning our state standards by providing hands-on materials and literature.

Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forgot, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn." These materials will provide multiple hands-on opportunities for my students to experience force and motion.

They will be able to build car ramps, create roller coasters, and experiment with balloon rockets. The literature will reinforce and expand on all of the experiments they are performing. These high-interest books will make all of the concepts super easy to grasp. All of these activities will support our state science standards.
