My Students

The students in my classroom spend their day wondering about the world around them. They are driven to know more and push themselves in their learning. Together, we learn about the different cultures, people, and events in the world. Together, we develop an understanding of the world as a whole and where we fit into it.

Understanding peace and the importance of acceptance is vital in today's society.

My students embrace the idea that they are a team; that they can push each other through challenges and cheer one another on through their successes. They have promised to continue, and work on, these positive relationships throughout the course of the year as they will be vital to our success as a whole.

My Project

These books will help guide the students in their understanding of peace, acceptance, and civil unity; a very important skill for the future of our youth. By reading about the civil leaders of our past the students will be able to understand how obstacles were overcome and the importance of coming together.

Today's world depends on our youth learning to look past their differences and come together to make a better tomorrow.

Please help my students learn about powerful leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, and a group of young teenagers fighting to overcome segregation. Your donation will help students understand the importance of being brave and standing up for what is right.
