Learning science through a virtual lab is not as engaging or rewarding as actually using your hands. Actually experiencing a lab leaves a lasting impression on a young mind and creates a lasting memory. This year, I want to give that lasting memory to my students.
My students come from all walks of life.
They attend a small, rural school. They are eager to learn about the world around and have had very little hands-on learning experiences like my project.
My students need real life hands-on lab activities that focus on the body systems to help them learn how their body works. Our students will use the frog specimens and pins to explore the body systems of frogs and apply the newly discovered ideas to their own anatomy! These activities will be used during the unit where we discover and explore each of the body systems and how they function. Your generous donation to our project will improve our biology classroom by building a stronger scientist and student. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will discover science by hands-on learning and will also have fun!
