I teach students with mild-moderate disabilities. My students are well-behaved students; however, they lack motivation, and sometimes it is really challenging to engage them in the lesson. In our ethnic studies class currently, we study biographies of famous people who made a huge impact on the world. My students are going to write book reports about their favorite person. I will model the assignment by showing the basic steps of the book report and a book report template will be provided.
In addition, in my financial algebra class, students are learning life skills such as counting money and we are working on money-related word problems.
The Real-Working Cash Register will help my student to explore money counting and practice solving problems using the register.
