I teach at a school that specializes in special education.
I have 15 students in grades K-1 who have a range of disabilities, including autism, ADHD and behavioral disorders. My students are very visual and kinesthetic learners who need manipulative's to help them succeed in school!
My Project
Sometimes it is difficult to help my students understand the world around them, where they came from and what makes Earth the best place to live! Using the social studies resources kit, I will be able to bring to life the cultures around them, the beautiful landscapes we see when we look out the window and explain the past, present and future of our world.
