My students are like family to me! I truly believe in establishing healthy positive relationships with my students. I go to their birthday parties, their football games, and I try to make our classroom feel safe and comfortable. We either hug, high five, fist bump every morning and afternoon. They tell me about their families, hobbies, and their goals! I am so grateful to be a part of their lives!
I teach at a Title 1 school in North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are eager and excited to learn everyday. They are constantly moving and are full of energy! They have a go go go mentality and always need to be engaged.
My Project
My students are so creative and use their imagination all the time. They are always coming up with all these ideas. I would like different crafty materials to help them create projects, experiments, and art.
Students deserve to have all sides of their personality expressed openly and freely.
Some kids are better at arts and crafts, music, math, reading, or science. I want them to know its okay to get creative and get messy!
I have asked for things like pipe cleaners, googly eyes, feathers, tape, science kits, and much much more. I also asked for a really cool bookshelf to help promote special books and holidays that are easily seen.
