This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach some of the brightest students in my district. My students are being taught Biology, AP Biology, and Zoology. They are hard working students who don't have access to a variety of resources and many come from low-income families.
I teach students who go to a Title I school and students with various learning styles.
My students do not let their home challenges determine their success and each day I strive to let them know that they can and will do anything that they put their minds to.
My Project
This project will help students to view and venture into different career paths in science. Many of my students are not or have ever been exposed to this and it will open their horizons and jump-start them to venture in fields such as veterinarian sciences and zoology! It also opens the door to surgical sciences as well. My students are very enthused about the idea of dissection and I hope that this project gets funded because otherwise, our students will miss this great opportunity! Thank you so very kindly!
