My Students

I have a large group of 29 third graders with high energy! I have an Autistic student that needs special seating to focus and others that need extra help with staying on task too. A couple students did online learning last year and really struggled to keep up. We have worked very hard this year to get those students on level that have fallen behind. My class works hard to achieve goals and they love to see their progress.

My students love to "Feel The Learn" in class and enjoy challenges to make their learning exciting.

They thrive on doing hands on activities that relate to their lives so they can see the application.

My Project

These materials will be used in whole group for math and small groups. Students can each use the manipulatives to build and create problems and equations in math. These materials will make it easier for them to see how math works and how it relates to their life.

My students will be able to use these math manipulatives to help them relate the concepts to hands on learning!

It will make math more exciting and applicable. The flexible seating will also help those kids focus that have trouble sitting still during math time.
