Explore Math and Science

My Students

My students this year come to me for math and science. They are curious about the workings of the world around them. I want to build upon their love of science and math. This group of students has been struggling with all of the changes and challenges of these years of Covid.

My students go out of their way to help each other everyday and be the best person they can be.

Our first school rule is to be kind and my students work hard towards this everyday.

My Project

School has been difficult over the last couple of years. This year is no different. Student have fallen behind. The materials that I have chosen will help my students explore math and science with hands on activities.

During small group instruction, my students practice their math skills using engaging tools like the Math Dominoes and Math Folder Games.

The Grab and Play Math Games will allow students to practice skills with place value, fractions, and more.

Science ideas can be difficult for students to understand. I wanted to build my students background knowledge using the Book Libraries on electricity, the solar system, and force. In science, student excel when using hand actives like the landscape and force kits.
