My students need scholastic magazines to expore our science and social studies standards!
This project expired on July 27, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are amazing and diverse 5-6 year olds that are excited to learn and explore. We are a STEM school, and my students have fully embraced the STEM mindset of problem solving, designing, and creating. We are in need of some additional technology to assist us on our learning journey. We are a lowest income, Title I school with a very diverse population. We need as many experiences and tools in our classroom as possible to engage students and give them the fullest learning experience possible.
My students need the scholastic magazine so that we can better explore and understand our science and social studies standards. I looked at the upcoming topics and they directly align with our science and social standards and units we learn about in class! It also covers the major holidays and no important people we study about! It has excellent issues with animals that will be perfect to Incorporate into our research projects for informational writing. It is also an excellent tool and talking piece for students to take home and share with their family! I loved how this magazine also brought in math and literacy concepts as well!
