Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are mixed age group of children from disadvantaged populations. The children enjoy the learning environment. They are mainly interested in hands on activities and science. They enjoy music and dance. They also love books.

The children in my class come from all creeds and backgrounds.

However, they really enjoy the program. The girls and the boys enjoy the house and the block area. The enjoy working with their hands for example, playing in the sand area or making egg salad.

My Project

The materials will be used to enhance and stimulate social and emotional growth in young children. It will also help the children in my class learn how to be independent and become more confident in themselves. Social and emotional supplies and equipment for the classroom will help build character and teach children how to work as team. I believe that it is important for all children to have healthy social and emotional growth. Healthy social and emotional development helps lay the foundation for a healthy and successful foundation. It also helps with their everyday success and cognitive development in the future. I want to see all my students succeed.
