We live in northern Maine. My students come primarily from middle to low-income households; therefore resources are often very limited.

I want to provide them with several resources to nurture inquiring minds. The Stem kits would promote amazing engineers as they work through challenges while having fun!
My Project
These kits will continue to enhance the engaging classroom that I strive to create. My learners love STEM days! I try to incorporate these days into as much of our weekly routine as I can. Through fun-filled stations, learners can explore their passions and create whatever their imagination desires. Their eyes all light up when I announce that we are going to be doing STEM. Learning is fun and the possibilities are endless!

With these new kits, my students will be able to choose from a variety of items that will allow them to use their imagination. They will be able to take ownership of their work and focus on things that interest them. The best way to expose our learners to STEM is to give them hands on opportunities to try. The more they explore, the more they will learn! My learners have shown great interest in STEM and this project will provide them with many more opportunities to grow!
