I work with low income families. To see the look on their faces when you introduce them to something new is priceless. The joy they get from learning new things daily is a great feeling. Our families are unable to help with items that we need in class to do a great project and let the kids have fun. Our school is located in Knoxville, and most of our families and kids live around violence daily.
I would like to give them as many good experiences as I can while teaching them daily.

My Project
Most of my students only get to experiment with various science materials and get hands-on learning at school. Getting the discovery, sink or float, magnetic and motion kits, they can learn through hands-on learning about different science techniques. They will have the advantage of discovering new things. Using the touch and feel mystery capsules lets them make their own conclusion about what's inside. The sound and color items let them realize and discover beyond just the normal color and sounds. The tornado helps them learn a little about weather. The force and motion set lets them realize all the various types of motion we have.
