This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what t was like to relate what you learned in math to the real world? My students have not had this experience. This new Apple mini pad could help them connect.

My students are a group of hard working and eager to learn third graders.

They attend a Title 1 (low income) school in the the state of Texas. Although, our school is very limited in resources, my students are very excited about the new school year.

My Project

This new Apple mini pad will help my students experience a different way to enjoy math other than the pencil and paper method. They will use this new Apple mini pad to work on two math programs ( ST Math and Think Through Math). These programs help students master the state mandated math curriculum. My students will be able to work on their assignments in various locations of the school using this new Apple mini pad ( classroom, library, cafeteria, hallway).

All children should have the opportunity to explore the Math World using technology.

This new Apple mini pad will help my students enjoy math and at the same increase their chances of competing in different math competitions.
