I need help funding the two day training at RCA.

This school year, I have a very energetic group of first graders. There are five girls and nine boys. Our classroom is at the opposite end of the building from the front door, so my kids are always out of breath by the time they bound through the classroom door, because they have "walked very quickly" and climbed two sets of stairs to get there. Even though they are trying to catch their breath, they still have energy left to say good morning, tell me about what is going on in their lives, and start our day with a dance party.
My students are also very creative, have a love for all things science and singing, and cannot wait to engage in center activities every day.
Their love of learning and having fun while doing it, motivates me to plan engaging lessons and activities, especially in science! Right now, we are learning all about space. An inflatable solar system hangs from our ceiling to add to the magic of this topic, and we will be visiting the Moon soon! After all, an experience is more memorable than a worksheet, and my students deserve it.
For years now, I have been obsessed with The Ron Clark Academy. I have read a few of Ron Clark's many books, both of Kim Bearden's books, and Hope and Wade King's book. Also, I follow the school, co-founders, and staff on Instagram to get daily inspiration from these amazing educators and scholars. Mr. Clark, Mrs. Bearden, and their staff are all about building relationships with their students and creating engaging lessons that make learning memorable.
I want to attend RCA to experience the magic first-hand so that I can bring that inspiration back to my own students.
These incredible educators have already inspired me to create learning experiences for my students over the past few years, and I am a believer in this teaching method. Ever since learning about this Hogwarts style school, it has been my dream to dance through RCA's front doors, slide down that big blue slide, and be immersed in the magic. Lastly, I want to personally thank them all for how they have helped me to grow and continue to improve as an educator.
