My Students

A typical day in my classroom involves a lot of hustle and bustle. Our multi-age classroom of fourth and fifth graders are constantly moving about and exploring different lessons. The students are actively engaged in many different lessons throughout the day that corresponds to their grade level.

My students are from two different grade levels.

We have fourth and fifth graders in a self-contained classroom. The students are full of energy every day. Our school is a public charter school. We are also a Title I school. We focus on flexibility, service, and connection. Our students come from all over the county and all are eager to learn.

My Project

The gift cards for Teachers Pay Teacher will allow me to purchase new Montessori lessons for my students to use during their work time. Some of the lessons are digital formats in case we have to go to virtual learning again due to COVID.

My students do not learn from a traditional textbook setting.

They learn by using hands-on experience every day. The gift cards will make sure that the students have materials that will provide a meaningful learning experience for them. The students will use the materials each day to ensure they understand their lessons.
