Middle school can be a difficult time for all students but even more so when you struggle in school with learning disabilities. Often my students lack the ability to focus on tasks for sustained periods of time. They also often lack the ability to imagine or be creative because they are so afraid of being wrong or not knowing how to begin the task. I feel that I can help my students expand their creatively and imaginations in a safe, non-threatening way. These skills will help my students throughout their life.
My Project
My middle school students all have learning disabilities and often lack the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. What better way to help them than to provide them with fun logic puzzles.
I would like to help my students develop patience and intelligence through creatively.
When students work on puzzles, they exercise their brain and improve cognitive and spatial recognition skills.
These logic games are especially handy for those who need to take short breaks to unwind and practice mindfulness between harder learning tasks by removing distractions and learning to focus.
Creative flakes help students expand their developing cognition, logic, imagination and spatial understanding in a creative way.
