Do you remember how much fun you had as a kid playing with LEGOs? My students are taking that to a new level by building and programming LEGO Mindstorm Robots! They have to find ways to get the robots to complete missions based on the theme each year.
These amazing middle schoolers are full of curiosity and drive that they use to problem solve while learning great STEM skills.
They work together well and are a joy to be with.
Our after school Robotics club started this year with some basic equipment. The six amazing students that participated in our first year learned so much and had a great time building and programming robots. As others have seen what they are doing, interest has grown considerably and we need more robots to keep up.
The LEGO Robotics club is expanding and the students need another Mindstorms EV3 Core set so that more of them can have the hands-on experience of building and programming their own robots.
If you donate to this project, know that you are putting excellent equipment into very curious and capable hands.
