My Project

This classroom is a group of strong thinkers who have a genuine love of learning. My class in particular loves social studies and learning about the world around them, hearing different points of view, and having classroom discussions.

We are struggling to find nonfiction reading about current events that are kid appropriate for our students.

Your donation will help to provide our students with materials to expand their knowledge about the world around them and contribute to obtaining essential nonfiction reading skills.

We are requesting a class set of TIME for students' subscription magazines. TIME for kids provides students with authentic real-world news, which is kid-appropriate and encourages students to tap into their critical thinking skills. Students can then engage in educational discussions and problem-based learning surrounding the news.
