My students need drawing pencils, charcoal and pastel paper, moldings and other art supplies to be able to experience what it is like to use high quality materials.
My students are striving to become the best artists they can be but do not have the supplies available to them to help take them to the next level. I would love for them to be able to experience all that art can do for them without having to worry about not having the materials to take them there.
Our students all have amazing stories about where they come from.
Many have not only struggled in school for years but have struggled in their home lives too. They do not have enough money to pay for resources like art supplies. These students are extremely talented and just need some art supplies to create their artwork.
My Project
With these supplies, students that can not afford to print off their photos can use the school's. They will also be able to have drawing paper available to them that is specified for the specific materials they are using and have drawing pencils available for all students to use!
Our school recently switched to semester long classes.
With the new changes, it has opened a wonderful opportunity for our students to be able to have more time in the classroom. With these new supplies, they will have the chance to expand their knowledge with a variety of materials and not only pencil and paper.
