This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Abraham Lincoln once said, "The best way to predict your future is to create it." As a teacher, my goal is to help my students to become better thinkers and guide them towards the future they desire, rather than simply providing them with a preexisting route that they can easily take.

My students are wonderful, curious, fun, and always eager to learn.

I teach 30 students who motivate and challenge me on a daily basis. At the end of the day, my students are the cause of my laughter and happiness. My students come from different backgrounds and all carry different stories and vision. However, despite their differences, all of my students always walk into the classroom with a smile on their face, ready to learn!

My Project

For my students, the most anticipated part of the school day is the last part, where they go outside for Physical Education. They constantly ask to go outside to play their favorite sport! But for many of my students, recess, and PE are the only form of exercise they receive throughout the day.

My students are always eager to try new sports.

Although they enjoy the activities that we do now, they are always wanting to try something new. These new badminton racquets and birds will allow them to try a completely new sport that many of them have never seen, or heard of before. We will be using these resources at least 3 times during throughout the week.
