My Students

Every morning my students enter the room with big smiles on their faces ready for the day! My amazingly diverse students love to learn new things, and work well in teams to reach their goals!

I have a class of 19 smiling first graders who like most classes are working at a variety of levels.

It is important that all of their needs are met, and it helps that these children want to learn, and take initiative to push themselves! Our school is small, but it is full of heart, which makes coming to school each day a joy!

My Project

I would like to use these 5 pedal exercisers and 3 sensory cushions in a variety of ways. After doing some research I plan to utilize these pedal exercisers not only to help with students who may need a little support with focusing, but as a reading incentive as well. I love that my students will have the opportunity to not only exercise their bodies but their minds as well!

There are so many benefits to having these pedal exercisers and cushions in my classroom.

It would allow our class to try an alternative method to maintaining focus and interest, which may be just what they need to enhance their passion for learning!
