My Students
Going to recess without the proper equipment makes the time pass slowly.
I teach in a 5th grade classroom and my students love to be active at recess. I want to provide them with playground equipment so that when they are outside they can be actively engaged and have something to do. This equipment will provide them with many choices and keep them active.
My Project
I want my students not only to have equipment for when they are out at recess, but I also want them to experience new things. Because of this, along with the "typical" playground balls, I have also requested materials for students to learn how to play Badminton. I want my students to try new things and find the joy in doing so.
I want my students to experience the joy of being active. I want them learning the basics of games that will be with them for a lifetime. By providing these materials, we can provide a healthy alternative to sitting around at recess and promote an active lifestyle.
