My Students

I teach a wide variety of students in physical education. Students range in grades from kindergarten through sixth. Our school is very diverse with more than 20 different languages spoken and children coming from over 30 countries. We pride ourselves on teaching these students how to be successful members of society.

My students love interacting in sports and games.

Teaching all levels of students is challenging without equipment. My students are eager to get their bodies moving and practice their athletic skills.

The negative impact COVID-19 has had on the physical activity level of students is outrageous. Students have become complacent, lethargic and unmotivated. My goal is to change that!

My Project

The materials requested can all be used in multiple games, activities and sports. The equipment is very versatile for physical education. Hula hoops can be used for bases, teambuilding games, home spots, basketball extensions and more.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has impacted the students physical fitness negatively.

To fix this, my goal is to teach students how to individual goal set, make healthy choices, encourage teamwork and cooperation and build/maintain students exercise habits.

In order to teach my students these concepts in physical education materials like timers, motivational posters, multiple pieces of versatile equipment and my guidance/coaching/teaching skills the students will be back to their old selves in no time.
