Our student-athletes are a hard-working bunch that resides in a small, rural town. These Junior High and High School kids are accustomed to getting the job done regardless of the resources available. This group is highly adaptive to any circumstance thrown their way.
My Project
Exercise bands are arguable the safest, most versatile, mobile, and affordable forms of resistance training for youth athletes. Funding this project will provide every athlete in our junior high and high school team sports with resistance training that is easy to move, sanitize, and remain socially distant.
Having access to enough resistance bands will help our weight coaches and team sport coaches provide strength training and athletic development in multiple locations at the same time.
Resistance bands are easy to clean, move, and store making them the perfect training equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Beyond these times of uncertain health challenges, resistance bands remain a staple of youth athletic development.
The teams served include Junior High and High School Football, High School Girls & Boys Basketball, High School Volleyball, High School Baseball, Boys & Girls High School Track & Field, Junior High & High School Cross Country, and High School Softball.
