My students are dedicated, devoted, and caring. We are the first HOSA-JUMP Chapter in our school District. JUMP: Junior Upcoming Medical Professionals and HOSA: Formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America but now known as Future Health Professionals. It’s a 6th-8th grade student-led organization designed to be a stepping-stone for students interested in entering the health science and medical field.
In our very first year of belonging to HOSA-JUMP Organization, we have participated in several community service activities such as Tooth Fairy Drive and Blood Drive.
My students are willing to put in long hours after school and on weekends to support and help our surrounding community. Your support in providing my students the necessary equipment would truly be appreciated.
Students will learn that with fun and daily exercise routines the mind will be ready to learn academic content.
Our daily exercise equipment has been good to us but we truly need new updated equipment.
Students will learn to care more about their bodies if they see that exercise can be fun and enjoyable.
We will cover important muscle groups and discuss how they should exercise for that specific muscle group.
Students will complete a research project that will focus on learning the specific muscle group they will also complete a separate research assignment that deals with the important diseases to that muscle.
