Executive Functioning for Students

Help me give my students the ability to learn executive functioning skills in a fun and engaging way with board games.

My Project

Many of the students at my school lack the executive functioning skills they need to get them though the school day. Executive functioning skills are the important processes in our brain that help us start and finish tasks. It is the part of the brain that enables people to make decisions and direct attention to a range areas in order to be successful though the day. Executive function is an underlining skill for many successful developmental stages. Lack executive function skills can hinder a students over all success in school.

Learning executive functioning skills can be fun.

The items that I have chosen not only will be engaging for students they will help with specific executive functioning skills . For increasing working memory Stare Junior Board Game for Kids, this game helps students recall what they see. Emotion control can be worked on with Totem the feel good game. Outfoxed will teach students team cooperation, direction following and problem solving. mental Blox with encourage problem solving, and focus.
