Help me give my students a full leveled library that will allow students to switch their books out once per week. Independent reading is also a time to supplement student bins with books from read-aloud time.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
This wonderful second grade classroom is located in a welcoming and extremely diverse neighborhood in Chicago. The students that attend our school come from many different cultural backgrounds and experience a variety of home experiences every day. Each day, we work on learning fundamentals like reading, writing, math, and science but we also spend a lot of time learning about culturally relevant topics such as holidays and important historical figures.
This lovely class of 23 students is composed of a variety of different reading levels, phonemic proficiency levels, and writing levels.
In order to fully provide students with the differentiated learning they need, we need more supplies. With a beautiful selection of class materials, this class will go above beyond the learning of Second Grade!
These wonderful books will allow students to go above and beyond in reading. Book bins should have enough books per level for students to switch them out every week.
Additionally, students supplement their book bags with fun books from read-aloud time that are a bit above level for most readers but have such an exciting story line that students will stay engaged with the reading during the entirety of reading time.
Finally, the higher level books will allow those students that are advanced in their reading to have access to the most popular children books when they are ready to move on.
