My students needs are wide and diverse. I teach in a special education class with Autism, LD, and EBD. My students have trouble remembering their charging cords.
My amazing, Special Education students make me smile everyday. They work hard daily to overcome their disabilities. We are a 1 on 1, iPad school. The iPads help my students with unique apps, that help them adapt to the regular curriculum. They sometimes loose or forget the charging cords. Please help.
My students have autism, learning disabilities, and Emotional Behavioral Disorder.
Because of their disabilities, they can forget or lose their chargers. It is very hard for students with disabilities to keep, all that is expected of them, organized and easy to access. Having power helps greatly.
My Project
My students use their iPads for organizing, studying, and for educational apps, like Nearpod, Quizzlet ect., and for working on homework. It helps them keep the school work in a neat fashion, which will allow them to remember to upload the hard work they spent time working on. Nearpod can help them organize their thoughts, which can help on assignments and tests. Quizzlet helps the students study for tests, and we use Moby Max to help students fill in gaps in the learning, in Language Arts and Mathematics.
My students cannot get the benefit of iPad apps, if they cannot get power to their iPads.
Having some extra chargers in my classroom, will help them keep their iPads charged and ready to learn with.
