Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My name is Ms. Palmeri. I am the Special Educator for our self-contained kindergarten/ first-grade class.
We are a Title I school limited on how much money we have towards classroom items and nurturing materials that go with our learning.
These are much needed for our students to help them grow as we embrace knowledge!
We are looking for help of donors to please help me to continue to make my class as amazing as possible for these children. They will greatly appreciate it.

My Project
Our children will benefit from musical instruments, dress-up items, toys, and special cards. It will increase their learning through visuals, sensory materials, pretend play and more. Unfortunately, I currently do not have these items and it’s important to have them in order to keep consistent learning, calmness with special needs and times that arise of distress. These items can help in their coping mechanisms as we are learning, feelings and self/emotional control. Thank you so much for considering this project. The students will truly be so happy to have these beautiful additions to our class in support of their lives, education and cultural wellness. Thank you.
