Help me give my students liquid floor tiles, phonics activities, and other tools that will encourage successful learning in and out of the general education classroom.
I work with about twenty special education students who require specially designed instruction in reading, writing, math, emotional support or organizational skills. These students come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of strengths and needs. They work well in the general education setting, but they also often require services outside of the classroom. These students are hard workers and have active imaginations. They are active in the classroom and are fun to work with every single day!
My Project
The students I work with have a variety of needs in and out of their classrooms. Students often come to my classroom to receive services in a small group setting where they can feel successful with their academic and social skills.
This assortment of sensory items and tools will help create an inviting environment for my special education students to learn.
These tools will provide sensory input without being a distraction to my students or their peers, which will ultimately encourage success in the classroom. The balls and tiles will be great for when students need a break from their rigorous classwork, and the reading tools will provide hands-on tools for my readers who are trying to gain confidence in their decoding comprehension. My students and I thank you for the support!
