Excelling with the Standards Using Interactive Software
My students need interactive software to use on our Smartboard, to help teach and reinforce important concepts that my students are expected to master in the third grade.
As a teacher, I must reach all of my students, regardless of their particular learning style. Using an interactive whiteboard benefits my tactile learners by marking the board. Audio learners get the class discussion they need, while my visual learners can see what is taking place on the board.
We are a classroom that loves to learn and we especially love to learn on our colorful Smartboard.
Hands on activities help me engage my students while I am teaching the key standards of language arts, math, science, and social studies. The more creative ways I can present the standards, the better chance my students have of mastering them.
My students also need to become more proficient in the area of technology. When we use our Smartboard, my students are receiving a balanced education. Interactive games help keep my students motivated and enthusiastic about learning. Even my shy students feel comfortable participating in classroom discussions when we are using the Smartboard because the concepts come alive.
My Project
It is my responsibility as a teacher to help my students reach their full learning potential, no matter what their learning style might be. By using technology to engage my students, I am able to reach students that might normally be distracted and disinterested in learning.
Hands-on activities help my students better understand important concepts that they will need for their future education. By using the interactive whiteboard software that I have requested, I believe that my students will have the best chance possible to succeed in third grade.
My students' education means the world to me.
Not only do I want my students to learn and master the traditional standards of language arts, math, social studies, and science, but I want them to be able to compete in a technology driven world.
