My Students

Every single student at my school have been labelled at-risk by their previous school. The students are here for a second chance to complete high school. They are engaged, eager to learn, and working hard to achieve their high school diploma.

Most students never thought college was in their future.

With the successes they are achieving here, they can see it for the first time. Each year more and more students are getting into four-year universities and all students now see that college is possible.

These are the students that were told that they wouldn't amount to anything, but now they are achieving their personal educational goals and beyond.

My Project

My students for the first time are realizing that they are college-ready and excited for what comes next after high school. Unfortunately, many do not have the resources and funds for the growing technology that is needed to be successful while in college.

As first year college students, they are going to face many stressful situations.

I want to relieve some of that stress by providing them with some essentials that they many not be able to obtain on their own. Tablets will be a huge help with their studies when they leave high school and continue to be successful in college.
