Help me give my students and the other three classrooms in our district a few examples of kindness through the use of books! The teachers will be working together to make our first grade a very kind group of human beings!

My Students

Many kids do not know what kindness truly​ is because they do not experience it in their day-to-day lives. We, the teachers of these students would love to help them learn about kindness and share it from our little corner of the world!

The first graders at our elementary school are awesome kiddos!

Due to many reasons, we are a school below the poverty line. Many of our students come from broken homes, and some are even considered homeless. Many of the parents of our students work at night, never having the time to interact with their children.

My Project

Our little people need examples of kindness! We are a group of first grade teachers looking to model and give great examples of kindness to our students. We have researched the book titles we have requested and have read them all! They are wonderful ways to introduce and teach what kindness is.

In our first grade classrooms, these books will be read to the students and students will be given the opportunity to get their hands on these books and read them independently, use them to complete tasks and asked to do some of the same acts of kindness presented in these books.
