Amazing is the word I attribute to my students. They come to school learning two languages at the same time and participate in a variety of classes and activities.
They are little sponges who soak in everything: languages, skills, emotions, good habits, and they have to make sense of it all in their own young minds and small bodies.
I feel honored to be there for them, to help guide them, to help them make sense of the pools of information they need to absorb and be able to see them grow into "fat and squishy" sponges ready to make a splash!
These Legos building sets and figurines will enhance my students' creative play and improve on their social skills as they learn to build together.
Throughout the generations, Legos have proven not only to be great toys for children to develop their creativity and finger dexterity, but also powerful for building social skills.
Having these Legos in the classroom will give my students the opportunity to work together. As the children team up to build trucks, playgrounds, buildings, whole communities, they can practice communicating with each other, making plans, and solving problems. But, more importantly, they can just simply have fun being a team, which is really cool!
