My students need a storage center to help organize our classroom.
This project expired on September 7, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My school receives breakfast and lunch for free due to the large number of homeless and low income families. In these economically challenging times, parents are working more than one job to support their families. This makes it hard for them to find time to teach their children some of the basic skills necessary to be a success in school.
Many of my students have not been to a pre-k program and have never been exposed to the joy of learning.
I can tell them all they need to know, but if they aren't able to practice and explore on their own, they will not retain the necessary skills.
In these economically challenging times, parents are working more than one job to support their families. This makes it hard for them to find time to sit down and read stories to their children.
I am requesting a storage center for my classroom. This will help me organize our center games so it is easy for the students to pick an activity. This will also help my students to know where to put things back when they are done.
Currently, I only have 2 unstable book shelves that I use to hold center games.
It is hard to organize the games and the students have trouble remembering where to put things back. With this storage center I will be able to label where everything goes and make it easier for my students to keep our classroom neat and tidy.
