My Students

My students are incredible third graders who live in a small community in northeast Iowa. Our school district is progressive, yet has a high population of low SES students. Each day my students come to school excited and ready to learn.

Each day I greet my students at the door and say good morning!

This puts a smile on their faces and helps them to have a positive start to the day. My students love coming to school each day! They are incredible and special in every way.

My Project

As a teacher, my mission is to create life-long readers. My classroom library is full of wonderful, exciting, diverse books that my students love to read. The reason for this project request is that my students have been asking for comfy bean bags or huggers to use as they read around the room.

Those of us who are readers, know and understand the importance of having a comfortable place to read.

These bean bag huggers would be perfect for my students. I can already see them curling up! Thank you for helping to give my readers comfy spots to read!
