Our students are inquisitive, imaginative, and are encouraged to try new things. We are an early kinder through eighth grade school that focuses on the entire renaissance child through the exploration of arts and science.
Switching to online distance learning has effected many of the projects and activities we do.
There is no better moment than when our students' eyes light up and they run to their parents to tell them what they have learned that day. We love when the parents come back to us, excited that their children are learning so much. Our students are very young and active both physically and mentally.
Our school and district goal is to prepare our students to be college and career ready. Our students are striving towards this every day through exploration, discovery, encouragement and by making a mess and getting dirty.
My Project
Our students at LdV have always had weekly music through morning sing. Once distance learning was implemented morning sing had to stop. We want to bring it back.
Mr. Cooper's music brings a special magic to the classroom.
Mr. cooper was able to continue is singing online in March - June for the Early Kindergarten class. Kindergarten was able to join in. The kids really enjoyed singing with Mr. Cooper and music is very important part of our school culture.
Thanks to your help we will be able to bring singing back to our students at LdV.
