Mrs. Vezmar from Milford DE is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.

Everyone Learns in their Own Way!

Help me give my students some alternative seating and materials to use. We are a special education classroom and our students learn best when they can choose where they want to work.

My Students

I have the privilege of teaching young children with a variety of learning levels. Being a special education self contained teacher means my students are each learning at their own rate and level. They are all so excited for themselves and each other when they learn something new. My kids love learning through hands on activities and real life situations. All my students have a great attitude towards life. We are a happy “family.” We each have our own strengths which we share with each other. These kids are very able. They just need to work at their own pace and in their own way. The joy of learning that they have is contagious!

My Project

I teach in a special education classroom. I have found my students work best when they have a choice of where to sit in the room to complete work and materials that let us learn hand on. Please help me to give them alternative seating and a new stand for our pocket charts. These simple things will allow the kids to better focus on their work and make great strides in their education. The pocket chart stand will allow them to work alone or with a partner to practice skills we have learned together in small groups. My students and myself appreciate your help!
