Help me give my students the ability to stream their talent shows and concerts to the parents who are not able to attend. The iseevy Video Encoder will assist family members with disabilities who can not attend.
Students are very excited when they come to journalism class. It is the period when they can express themselves and have conversations. We start by discussing news that happened at school or in the neighborhood. We break into groups and voice opinions. They have well thought out opinions and ideas.
We love creativity and positives vibes!
We rank in the top forty for diversity in the NYC Public School system. My classes range from Special Ed. to General Ed. The students are very respectful and aware of the importance of schooling. They just want a chance to expand their technology experience. Given the chance, they can learn to record events and become engineers. They have the ability and the heart, now they need the tools.
My Project
We are starting a new program that includes filming the Talent Shows and the Music Concerts. Family members residing outside of Brooklyn will not be left out of seeing the talent shows!
Students will be able to "stream" these shows so all parents, family members and communities can watch live!
This program is a community and family outreach program.
This will also strengthen the Film Program curriculum. Students will learn the art of streaming live events. The more tools we provide the students the more they can master these skills. This has been a great after school program that is now expanded to the school day. We have been serving the District 20 community for 4 years. This will make us a proven leader in film production. The iseevy Video Encoder will assist family members with disabilities who can not attend.
