My students love to learn. They are kind hearted, thoughtful, and full of questions! Everyone is a reader, a writer, a scientist, a mathematician, an artist, and an explorer!
They come to school each day ready to try new things, although environment in which they learn best varies greatly.
In OUR classroom we promote self advocacy and flexibility to ensure success for everyone! My students develop a deep and personal understanding that everyone can be successful with the tools that are right for them and their individual learning needs.
My Project
Our class is full of writers! We are missing a writing center in our classroom. Here, students will be able to access anything they need to help them along the writing process.
These materials will bring motivation to each step of the writing process.
I hope these materials will create more independent and more eager writers.
I have asked for motivational posters and writing themed posters to inspire students. I also am hoping for a variety of writing utensils to keep students going. Finally, I am hoping for bins where students can store their writing notebooks and smaller ones to organize our writing center!
