My Students

I am a teacher of combination class at a wonderful school of more than 400 students. I have 23 students who are both third and fourth graders. They have a love of learning and want to be challenged.

We learn from each other in our classroom everyday!

Students are special because they come from all races, languages and economic statuses Their are wonderful clubs for every student to enjoy from robotics to girls enjoying math and science experiments and projects.

My Project

Coming to the carpet is a daily activity in our classroom. We not only use to listen to wonderful stories but during math workshop they solve multi step problems. The students play games on the carpet and bring whiteboards to the carpet to practice math on our interactive smart board .

Having this meeting place begins our day as a class family and ends or day excited for what' to come tomorrow.

Having a carpet with spaces would allow for them to transition to and from the carpet easier. I can quickly call a color to come or create learning teams.
